About Me

Jeannette...my darling sister...when she requested me to produce a short write up about herself...I obliged...not sure what I was getting myself into...hope this one won't bore you...all I know is that we miss her since she and her family moved to the UK! It was Bill, her husband who decided to move the children abroad as he is a firm believer of British educational system.

The atmosphere in Manila when JT and family left...Mum in a huff...missing her 'hija' - small girl in Spanish, especially her grandchildren - Alison/Ally and Alistair/Ali who practically grew up with their Grandma, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Before permanently leaving her native motherland, JT led a colourful life, getting into a glamorous job at 18...becoming a flight attendant was a mere accident...travelling around the globe... was a blessing in disguise...having her two other sisters as flight stewardesses...wow...lots of perks for our Mum.

When her flying days were over, JT finished Business Management, hoping that one day we would buy hotel/s or be in property development business, as I, on the other hand finished Hotel Management...well...maybe when we win the Lotto...so JT went into teaching instead!

JT is now a published author, the first book she wrote is entitled 'Join Me In My Journey,' is about her memoirs focusing on her travels to interesting and challenging places. The book is dedicated to our Mother, as she believes people forget to appreciate mothers who spend most of their adult lives rearing their children.

The book is inspirational, lighthearted, touching and it shows a lot of RJ's personality - animated, humorous, 'chilled' but also compassionate and committed to many charitable causes. They include providing scholarship to intelligent, hardworking students who are unable to financially support their studies. So go on... click on 'Buy the Book' and donate to her 'Charity Links.'

She is also in the process of finishing her second book...all she said was...'it's totally different from my first book...a lot darker,'...whatever that meant...very intriguing and it's up to you to decide. What about the title...well...we're still agreeing...and arguing what title to choose...we have a few lined up...but nothing confirmed...watch this space...will update you with the title soon.

Yours truly, Myrna
